What is Flex?

Flex applications are delivered to the browser using the Flash plug-in. Moreover, using Adobe AIR, Moonrise can use that same code-base to create cross-platform applications that run on Windows, Mac and Linux with many of the same bells and whistles of each OS. Early in 2007, Adobe released the Flex SDK as an open source project, making the technology free for its extensive community of developers, including Moonrise.
